As a PhD Candidate in Archaeology at Yale University, I specialize in how magnetism can answer anthropological questions. You can find me in the Yale University Archaeomagnetism Laboratory (YUAL) on the ground floor of 51 Hillhouse Ave in New Haven, CT. Here we can measure even microscopic magnetic components to characterize materials and conduct archaeomagnetic dating studies. I am invested in developing as many applications of these techniques as possible- so if you have anything that comes out of the ground, chances are I can tell you something new about it!
